Buffalo Sabres right wing Alex Tuch (undisclosed) is expected to return to the lineup for Saturday's preseason tilt against the Detroit Red Wings, Bill Hoppe of Buffalo Hockey Beat reports. He's been battling an undisclosed injury during training camp, but Tuch will finally be available for his preseason debut. Tuch had a big year in 2024-25 with 36 goals and 67 points in 82 games, setting himself high standards for the upcoming campaign. He is expected to continue in a top-six role and should see a healthy amount of power-play time.--Taavi Pailk
