Los Angeles Kings winger Alex Laferriere (undisclosed) practiced fully on Monday and looks set to be ready for Tuesday's season opener against the Colorado Avalanche, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports. Kings head coach Jim Hiller said he is "optimistic" about Laferriere's availability for the game. Laferriere is projected to begin the campaign on the second line with Kevin Fiala and Quinton Byfield. He operates as a power forward and recorded 42 points (19 goals, 23 assists) with 124 hits in 77 games during a career year last season.
