CFB DFS Rankings - Daily Fantasy College Football Rankings for Week 1 (Saturday 9/2)

Quinn Ewers - Fantasy Football Rankings, College FB, NFL Rookies, Draft Sleepers

Brad's CFB DFS rankings for Week 1 on 9/2/23. His daily fantasy college football rankings for QBs, RBs and WRs and the DFS slates on DraftKings and FanDuel.

After a quick appetizer to start the college football with Week 0, we hit the true start of the college football season in Week 1 with a full slate of action. Much like last week, the first game for many teams can be a bit tough to navigate as depth charts and rotations still have to work themselves out. Also be wary of late news which can always change a college football slate.

In this article below, you will find my CFB DFS lineup picks for Week 1 (Saturday August 2nd) via my positional college football rankings. Use these CFB DFS rankings when building daily fantasy college football on DraftKings, and be sure to read the rest of our CFB DFS articles and CFB betting articles as well. Good luck RotoBallers!

CFB DFS Quarterback Rankings

QB Cash Rankings Per $ QB GPP Rankings Per $
1 Joe Milton 1 Joe Milton
2 Michael Penix 2 Bo Nix
3 Bo Nix 3 Taylen Green
4 Sam Hartman 4 Kyle McCord
5 Dillon Gabriel 5 Michael Penix
6 Tanner Mordecai 6 Dillon Gabriel
7 Jaxson Dart 7 Jaxson Dart
8 Taylen Green 8 Quinn Ewers
9 Devin Leary 9 Shadeur Sanders
10 Quinn Ewers 10 Sam Hartman
11 J.J. McCarthy 11 Tanner Mordecai
12 Kyle McCord 12 J.J. McCarthy
13 Layne Hatcher 13 Devin Leary
14 Shadeur Sanders 14 Layne Hatcher
15 Emmett Morehead 15 Emmett Morehead

Although there is no star like Caleb Williams up top this week, there are a ton of elite quarterbacks you could look to play. In cash games Joe Milton III and Michael Penix Jr. seem too cheap for their relatively high floors and should be a staple in your lineups.

GPP's should be a nice mix this week as we have both new players and new systems to track. Tanner Mordecai is especially interesting this week because most will see "Wisconsin" and pass over the passing game. However, with Mordecai and new offensive coordinator Phil Longo in town, the Badgers may turn into a high powered offense quickly.

CFB DFS Running Back Rankings

RB Cash Rankings Per $ RB GPP Rankings Per $
1 Blake Corum 1 Blake Corum
2 Quinshon Judkins 2 Quinshon Judkins
3 Audric Estime 3 Dillon Johnson
4 Kaleb Johnson 4 TreVeyon Henderson
5 Emani Bailey 5 Marquez Cooper
6 Dillon Johnson 6 Audric Estime
7 TreVeyon Henderson 7 Braelon Allen
8 Ray Davis 8 Marcus Major
9 Marquez Cooper 9 Ray Davis
10 Jovante Barnes 10 Bucky Irving
11 Braelon Allen 11 Jabari Small
12 Bucky Irving 12 Emani Bailey
13 Jabari Small 13 Jonathon Brooks
14 CJ Baxter 14 Kavosiey Smoke
15 George Holani 15 Kaleb Johnson

There is never a true sure thing in college football, but the pricing mistakes up top this weekend make a few players on this list a virtual lock in all of your lineups. Blake Corum and Quinshon Judkins are perhaps the best two running backs in all of college football, and both are priced under $7k this week. There are a few other studs at QB/WR you may want to fit in but it will be incredibly difficult to avoid having both of these two in all of your lineups.

CFB DFS Wide Receiver Rankings

WR Cash Rankings Per $ WR GPP Rankings Per $
1 Bru McCoy 1 Xavier Worthy
2 Emeka Egbuka 2 Bru McCoy
3 Rome Odunze 3 Trayvon Rudolph
4 Luke McCaffrey 4 Squirrel White
5 Xavier Worthy 5 Marvin Harrison Jr.
6 Squirrel White 6 Carnell Tate
7 Marvin Harrison Jr. 7 Jaden Greathouse
8 Jaden Greathouse 8 Adoani Mitchell
9 Jalen McMillan 9 Will Pauling
10 Ryan O'Keefe 10 Jalen McMillan
11 Adonai Mitchell 11 Chimere Dike
12 Chimere Dike 12 Rome Odunze
13 Barion Brown 13 Luke McCaffrey
14 Will Pauling 14 Tre Harris
15 Tre Harris 15 Emeka Egbuka

The wide receiver position this week is like the quarterback position in that there are a few guys who are likely to see their prices raise as we progress into the season but, there are not the errors as there are with running back. As you can see from this list, we will want to target high volume passing games such as Tennessee, Ohio State, Texas and Washington. As mentioned above, it is still a bit of a mystery, but the Wisconsin wide receiver group may provide some nice value this week in their new system.
