Trey'Dez Green to be "Leaned on Early and Often" in LSU's New Offense
LSU tight end Trey'Dez Green is viewed as one of the top players at the position after catching 33 passes for 433 yards and seven touchdowns a season ago in the struggling Tigers' passing attack. With Lane Kiffin and Charlie Weis Jr. now in charge of the offense led by quarterback Sam Leavitt, Green's ceiling is sky-high in 2026. Shea Dixon of The Bengal Tiger reports that Green has been a standout during the early part of fall camp, and he will be "leaned on early and often." The 6'7", 240-pound Green is a matchup nightmare for linebackers and safeties, and if LSU takes a big step forward on offense as expected, he could be a legitimate contender to lead the country in touchdown grabs. Green has the chance to become a clear All-American selection and first-round NFL Draft pick if he lives up to his potential.
