Doug's best MLB player prop bets for today (5/26/2026). Bet his home run props (HR props) and win money betting on MLB player props, including Shohei Ohtani, Hunter Goodman, and others!
Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a wonderful, safe, and profitable Memorial Day Weekend. I’d like to give a belated thank-you to all the servicemen and servicewomen who put their lives on the line every day to protect our freedoms. I hope the work we do here at Rotoballers provides you with an opportunity to disconnect, when possible, in a fun and relaxing way.
We have 15 exciting games on the slate tonight, with some of the most hitter-friendly ballparks in baseball hosting games. We will look to the west for many of our bets tonight, but here’s an East Coast play that didn’t quite make the cut: Ozzie Albies has a .328 AVG with three home runs against Ranger Suarez in 28 at-bats over his career. Who else do we like? Read on to find out!
Below, you'll read about my favorite home run props from MLB games on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. The current odds given reflect the best price as of the publication, but remember to always shop around at other sportsbooks so you can get more value on your wagers. Odds can vary significantly from one sportsbook to another.
MLB Prop Bets - Today's Home Run Prop Picks (5/26/2026)
Shohei Ohtani OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+275 Novig)
He’s only hit eight home runs; he’s more focused on pitching than hitting, but he’s still Shohei Ohtani, and he’s starting to heat up. Over his past 10 games, Ohtani has only gone deep one time, but he also has five other extra-base hits, has a .412 AVG, and is pounding the ball with a .676 SLG. It’s only a matter of time before those double turn into home runs, and we want to be on the right side of those dinger bets when it happens.
Kyle Freeland is one of Ohtani’s favorite pitchers to face, having recorded seven hits in just 11 at-bats. Of those seven hits, two of them were home runs, leading to a 1.273 SLG when facing the Colorado lefty. In general, Ohtani doesn’t fare poorly against southpaw pitching, posting a .548 SLG in 47 plate appearances this season.
Shohei Ohtani cooled off a bit during yesterday's win over the Brewers after going 0-for-3 with 2 walks.
However, he was on a 9-game hitting streak before that

Freeland has been awful this season, allowing nine home runs through nine starts; a 2.11 HR/9 over 38.1 innings of work. He’s been equally bad at home and on the road, but that won’t really matter for this start, as Dodger Stadium has been the best ballpark for home runs by park factor, by a wide margin, over the past three seasons.
Freeland has been particularly bad over his past five starts, giving up eight home runs in 17.2 innings, a 4.07 HR/9. He’s allowed at least two home runs in three of his past four starts. Freeland has been just as bad against lefties as he has righties this season, allowing a .530+ SLG to batters from both sides of the plate.
We very much want to pick on Freeland tonight. If you want to get frisky, parlay Ohtani with Andy Pages, who has been the team’s best hitter against left-handed pitching and has a .571 AVG with a home run in seven at-bats against Freeland. I’ll also be adding in a parlay of over 1.5 H/R/RBI for both Ohtani and Pages in case they continue to hit the ball hard, but can’t get it out of the stadium.
Hunter Goodman OVER 0.5 Home Runs (+325 DraftKings)
Given how home run-friendly Dodger Stadium is (I refuse to call it UNIQLO Field), let’s add another longball shot with Hunter Goodman of the opposing Rockies. Clearly, the Rox are a better offense at home, but Goodman is starting to heat up with back-to-back multi-hit games heading into Monday night’s action.
Goodman is the best power-hitter on the team when facing lefties, posting a .442 SLG and a .212 ISO. More importantly, he’s got a 42.3% Hard% with a 27.3% home run to fly ball ratio against southpaws.
Tonight’s starter for the Dodgers is the newly acquired Eric Lauer. He came over from the Blue Jays, for whom he allowed 11 home runs over 36.1 innings of work in eight appearances. Lauer has allowed at least one home run in seven of his eight games this season, giving up at least two home runs in three of his last six outings.
He’s a fly-ball pitcher, allowing twice as many balls in the air as he does on the ground. At a field like Dodger Stadium, that means home runs should be aplenty.
