Week 13 Quarterback Rankings Outlooks
Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) got the win last Monday against the Panthers but delivered a dud to fantasy football managers. Purdy struggled outside of the short game, delivering just eight passes beyond 10 yards with a result of completion and three interceptions. Purdy insisted in postgame comments that his bout of turf toe was not to blame for his performance, and that his struggles were timing errors.
Purdy did practice in full all week and carries no designation for what could be a challenging matchup in Week 13 against the Browns. The Browns, led by pass rusher Myles Garrett, have allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. Strong winds, snow, and rain are in the forecast for Sunday, making Purdy's job all the more challenging. Purdy projects as a low-end QB2 in Week 13.
Jaxson Dart, New York Giants
New York Giants interim head coach Mike Kafka confirmed on Friday that rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart (concussion) will start on Monday night versus the New England Patriots, according to Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record. Dart, who has missed the last two games due to a concussion, cleared the league's concussion protocol this week and will return to starting duties in Week 13, sending veteran Jameis Winston back to the bench after he nearly led the G-Men to an upset over the Detroit Lions last week.
Despite a less-than-ideal matchup against the Patriots on Monday, the 22-year-old Dart should immediately be back in the QB1 conversation in fantasy football because of his dual-threat abilities. In the first seven starts of his career, Dart has been impressive with his arm and legs, throwing for 1,417 yards, 10 touchdowns, and three interceptions while adding 317 rushing yards and 7 TDs on the ground.
Bo Nix, Denver Broncos
Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix comes off the bye week with a plus matchup against the Washington Commanders on the road in Week 13. With the Commanders ranking 29th worst in pass defense, allowing 249.5 passing yards per game, Nix should be able to find some chunk plays through the air this week. The Commanders are also ranked 28th-worst in points allowed per game in 2025, at 26.9.
With an extra week to recalibrate their offense before the final season-end push for playoff seeding, it should be safe to expect Nix to put up good numbers to build some momentum after poor outings in Weeks 10 and 11. As RotoBaller's QB7 overall for Week 13, fantasy managers can start him with confidence coming off the bye.
Jacoby Brissett, Arizona Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett is conducting one of the most pass-heavy offenses in the NFL this season. Brissett has completed 80 passes on 106 attempts over the last two weeks with a 75 percent completion percentage. The 32-year-old has flipped the Cardinals into a passing offense and has been able to produce multiple fantasy viable pass-catchers.
Brissett enters Week 13 as RotoBaller's 11th-ranked quarterback in a favorable matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Over the last two weeks, the Buccaneers' defense has allowed opposing offenses to gain over 270 passing yards and three passing touchdowns. Against a struggling defense, Brissett has an opportunity once again to light up fantasy scoreboards in a high-volume role.
Brissett could see the return of top wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. (illness), who has officially been listed as questionable after missing the previous two games due to undergoing appendectomy surgery. Even if Harrison can't go, Brissett should be viewed as a low-end QB1 with upside and can comfortably be inserted into starting lineups.
