Waiver Wire Watchlist for Fantasy Football Week 10

Joey's fantasy football waiver wire watchlist before Week 10 of 2025. You should keep an eye on these emerging players and consider them waiver wire stashes.

Welcome to Week 10 of our fantasy football waiver wire watchlist for the 2025 NFL season. Week 9 featured some surprising performances from players who were available on the waiver wire, including WR Parker Washington (eight catches for 90 yards) and RB Emari Demercado (14 carries for 79 yards).

You know the drill by now: All players listed in this article are rostered in less than 50% of fantasy football leagues, meaning that they are available more often than not. That's why Broncos WR Troy Franklin isn't on this list (he's owned in over 60% of leagues!).

With that being said, here are five players still on the majority of waiver wires who could help you make significant strides in your fantasy football league. Good luck on the waiver wire and happy hunting!

Waiver Wire Watch List - Running Backs

Ray Davis, Buffalo Bills - 9% rostered

James Cook has emerged as the Bills' clear workhorse in 2025, which has left Davis as nothing more than a backup. However, Cook is currently dealing with an ankle injury and did not practice on Wednesday. If he does not suit up on Sunday against the Dolphins, Davis would step into 20-plus touches and be a must-start in fantasy football.

At 5-foot-8, 220 pounds, Davis is a bowling ball of a back and a strong downhill rusher. Last season in a committee role, Davis ran for 442 yards on 113 carries (3.9 yards per carry) and scored six total touchdowns, showcasing his talent as both a runner and receiver. While Ty Johnson will still earn the majority of the work on third downs even in Cook's absence, Davis will make an impact on early downs.

If Davis performs well, he could earn a larger split in the backfield, similar to what he had last season. If Cook misses multiple weeks, Davis will be an incredibly valuable pickup in fantasy football.

Managers who roster Cook should pick up Davis immediately, as he's the clear starter if Cook misses any time. But even managers who don't have Cook on their teams should think about adding Davis.

Emari Demercado, Arizona Cardinals  - 16% rostered

We thought Demercado's run as a starter was over following his careless fumble for a touchback against the Titans in Week 5. However, he reestablished himself as the team's top back in Week 9 against the Dallas Cowboys. The diminutive running back ran for 79 yards on 14 carries (5.6 yards per carry), providing a spark on the ground for a Cardinals team that has been desperate for it following the injuries to top running backs James Conner and Trey Benson.

The only question now is if Demercado will continue to lead the backfield in the near future. Fellow running back Bam Knight will also have a role on all three downs, as both running backs are effective on the ground and through the air.

Demercado certainly played well enough to secure a leading role for Week 10 against the Seahawks. While this may not last, as Benson is set to return in the next couple of weeks, Demercado could be a solid start in deeper leagues for managers in need of running back help.

Demercado is a good pickup in 12+ team leagues due to his opportunity as a starting running back for the next couple of weeks. While his value will decrease significantly when Benson returns, Demercado could continue to earn playing time as the team's passing-down back, like he did in Week 4 when he and Benson were both healthy.

Waiver Wire Watch List - Wide Receivers

Tory Horton, Seattle Seahawks  - 9% rostered

Going into this season, the Seahawks' No. 2 receiver was expected to be veteran Cooper Kupp, who was signed as a free agent on a three-year deal. However, he's been dealing with both injuries and inconsistent performance in 2025, which left an opportunity for someone else to step up. That someone is Horton, a fifth-round rookie who has established himself as a big-play threat in the Seattle offense.

Horton has a nose for the end zone as both a receiver and return man, having scored six touchdowns already this year. The Seahawks may have traded for wideout Rashid Shaheed before the deadline on Tuesday, but Horton has earned a role for himself and has developed a nice connection with QB Sam Darnold.

He obviously won't surpass Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who's the clear No. 1 target in this offense, but Horton is a potentially valuable player as a young, talented receiver in a strong passing attack.

DeMario Douglas, New England Patriots - 11% rostered

The New England offense is a revolving door at the moment, with Drake Maye spreading the football around. As a result, all of the Patriots' wide receivers - Douglas, Stefon Diggs, and Kayshon Boutte - have been frustrating players to own in fantasy football. However, there's reason to believe that you can trust Douglas in the near future.

In an explosive performance last week, the receiver caught four passes for 100 yards and a touchdown. Maye's big arm allows his receivers to make plays downfield, and Douglas was the beneficiary against Atlanta in Week 9. The shifty wideout can line up all over the field and serve as a downfield target or possession receiver, making him a staple of the Pats' strong passing attack.

Most importantly, Boutte is sidelined with a hamstring injury and did not practice on Thursday, so Diggs and Douglas will see increased target shares. While Diggs is the bigger name and probably still the better player, Douglas will have his opportunities and should be a valuable fantasy asset while Boutte is out.

Douglas has been inconsistent this season - he caught just one pass in Week 8 before his 100-yard performance this past week. However, his target share should be more consistent with Boutte out this week, so you should feel good picking him up and starting him.

Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars - 11% rostered

When I saw how involved Washington was in the Jaguars' offense at the beginning of the year, I was skeptical at first. Surely Travis Hunter and Brian Thomas Jr. will get the football more, right? Well, that never really materialized, and now Hunter is on injured reserve with a non-contact knee injury. Washington caught eight passes for 90 yards last week in a close shave against the Raiders, and the Jaguars will need to keep relying on him in Hunter's absence.

However, Jacksonville traded for wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, a possession receiver who will earn a solid target share of his own once he learns the offense. But head coach Liam Coen and quarterback Trevor Lawrence trust Washington and will keep him on the field whenever possible. In three-receiver sets, expect Thomas and Meyers to line up on the outside, with Washington in the slot.

If the Jacksonville passing game continues to struggle, Washington's reliability as a checkdown option should earn him plenty of targets. He's a solid flex option this week because of that fact, even against an elite Texans defense.
