Washington Commanders all-pro wide receiver Terry McLaurin requested a trade on Thursday after contract discussions fell through. McLaurin has been vocal about receiving an extension this year after delivering a career year in the 2024 season. Outside of McLaurin's rookie year, he has delivered over 1,000 yards receiving in every season he's played and remained a healthy option for the Commanders. With star quarterback Jayden Daniels entering the fold, this will be big news that can impact his play and McLaurin's after they connected for 13 passing touchdowns in 2024. As he enters his age-30 season, we will see if the Commanders work harder to get a deal done or decide to ship him off before his final contracted year.--Luke DeMarcus
