I told you bowl season was picking up! We have three more games today even though NFL Week 17 starts tonight. I'll take the college game, thank you very much! We have some good ones here as we get into the more interesting bowl matchups.
We start off in Yankee Stadium for the Pinstripe Bowl between Syracuse and Minnesota. Late afternoon takes us down to Orlando for the Cheez-It Bowl between Oklahoma and Florida State. We close out in San Antonio with the Alamo Bowl between Washington and Texas. This is going to be a great one!

I’ll provide multiple player suggestions for players at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Quarterbacks
Michael Penix, Washington ($8,400)
Penix threw for a staggering 4,354 yards and 29 touchdowns this season and should have at the very least been invited to the sham that is the Heisman Trophy ceremony. Penix has already decided that he is going to give it another year under the tutelage of Kalen DeBoer before he heads to the NFL. If this year was any indication, he could vault himself into the first round with another year like this! Texas is a fairly tough matchup, but I trust what I've seen from Penix this year.
Jordan Travis, Florida State ($7,400)
Travis is coming back to Tallahassee for year six, so there's less drama surrounding this bowl game. If he can stay healthy, the Seminoles have a high floor next year. He only threw four interceptions this season in 315 pass attempts. Oklahoma's defense has been chewed up and spit out time and again this year. Travis and the FSU receivers have the talent to do it to the Sooners as well.
Also consider: Dillon Gabriel, Oklahoma ($7,800); Quinn Ewers, Texas ($6,100); Tanner Morgan, Minnesota ($5,200)

DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Running Backs
Mohamed Ibrahim, Minnesota ($7,600)
While most players with this level of talent are shying away from Bowl games and everything else but draft preparation, Ibrahim is playing in Minnesota's bowl game and in the Shrine Bowl. That says a lot about what drives Ibrahim. Yes, Syracuse has a tough defense. Yes, Wisconsin snapped Ibrahim's string of 100-yard games and games with a touchdown. He should be good and mad against the Orange. I'm saddling up Ibrahim one last time in college before he makes some NFL team very happy in April.
Javontae Barnes, Oklahoma ($4,500)
Eric Gray is sitting out for the NFL Draft and Marcus Major is out with a leg injury. That leaves Barnes and Tawee Walker as the only backs with much experience this year. I'm very high on Johnson as well, so that should tell you what I think of Barnes by putting him here. Oklahoma's passing game left a lot to be desired this year and they leaned a lot on the run. They should here as well, as long as Oklahoma is within shouting distance.
Also consider: Wayne Taulapapa, Washington ($6,100); Roschon Johnson, Texas ($5,800); Trey Benson, Florida State ($5,400)
DraftKings CFB DFS Picks - Wide Receivers
Jalen McMillan, Washington ($7,100)
McMillan became the possession receiver for the Huskies down the stretch while Rome Odunze is still the guy that can break one wide-open. I prefer McMillan in cash games and Odunze in GPP. I prefer both if you think Texas is going to get rolled here. There's enough value to stack the Huskies if you want to run something in a GPP that many others won't.
Xavier Worthy, Texas ($6,300)
Worthy is the best Texas receiver and Washington has more holes in their secondary than the average pair of designer jeans these days. Some Texas receiver is going to have a big game here. Perhaps more than one. I prefer the upside of Worthy over the steadfast Jordan Whittington.
Daniel Jackson, Minnesota ($4,800)
I know that it has been a long time, but remember what Jackson did when Tanner Morgan was Minnesota's quarterback? Well...Jackson was the only Minnesota receiver with a pulse under Kaliakmanis, but his upside is even higher with Morgan back under center for this game. Jackson has a high ceiling and Michael Brown-Stephens is another solid punt in a game where Minnesota should throw more than 20 passes.
Also consider: Marvin Mims, Oklahoma ($6,800); Johnny Wilson, Florida State ($5,800); Brayden Willis, Oklahoma ($5,200); Brevyn Spann-Ford, Minnesota ($4,200)
