CFB DFS Rankings - Daily Fantasy College Football Rankings for Week 4 (Saturday 9/24)

Brad's CFB DFS rankings for Week 4 on 9/24/22. His daily fantasy college football rankings for QBs, RBs and WRs and the DFS slates on DraftKings and FanDuel.

After a few weeks with some big names leading the way, this week has a far less star studded cast to pick from. With no stalwarts like Alabama, USC or Ohio State on the main slate, it should be a fun slate to play with a variety of ways to attack.

One of the most interesting match-ups to keep an eye on is Notre Dame against North Carolina. This is the movable object (UNC Defense) against the Stoppable Object (Norte Dame offense). These are two of the more public teams on the slate and could be the key to either a huge GPP day or a bad one.

As always, keep an eye on the injuries throughout the week as stars such as Cedric Tillman, Josh Downs and Quinn Ewers availability could open up value. Also as noted above, ownership is likely to be spread out this week so going contrarian should not come into your plans too much.

CFB DFS Quarterback Rankings

QB GPP Rankings  Per $ Cash Rankings  Per $
1 Bo Nix 1 Hendon Hooker
2 Hunter Dekkers 2 Jalon Daniels
3 Drew Pyne 3 J.J. McCarthy
4 Daniel Richardson 4 Tanner Mordecai
5 Hendon Hooker 5 Drake Maye
6 J.J. McCarthy 6 Bo Nix
7 Drake Maye 7 Sean Clifford
8 Taulia Tagovaila 8 Sam Hartman
9 Jalon Daniels 9 Taulia Tagovailoa
10 Tanner Mordecai 10 Max Duggan

For cash games this week, clicking in Hendon Hooker should be easy to do as he brings the best floor on the slate. After Hooker, there are a few lesser known QB’s who have produced well in their new roles in Jalon Daniels and J.J. McCarthy who could shine in plus match-ups.

For GPP’s, there are a TON of low-priced options that could put up massive games. A player like Bo Nix has shown his upside, but as experienced DFS players know, the Bo Nix experience is not always a great one. Also the Pyne vs Maye match-up is interesting as this could be a high scoring game between the Heels and Irish.

CFB DFS Running Back Rankings

RB GPP Rankings  Per $ RB Cash Rankings  Per $
1 Nicholas Singleton 1 Mohamed Ibrahim
2 Tank Bigsby 2 Bijan Robinson
3 Blake Corum 3 Blake Corum
4 Bijan Robinson 4 Nicholas Singleton
5 Chris Tyree 5 Tank Bigsby
6 Jirehl Brock 6 Jirehl Brock
7 Nakia Watson 7 Will Shipley
8 Devin Neal 8 Omarian Hampton
9 Lew Nichols 9 Jalen Berger
10 Will Shipley 10 Chris Tyree

Like quarterback, there is a simple play in cash games as Mohamed Ibrahim is a near lock for 100 yards and a touchdown every time he plays. There are also a few nice cash games savings plays in Jirehl Brock and Will Shipley who have solidified roles.

On the GPP side, it is hard to pass on this price for star freshman Nicholas Singleton at Penn St. Coming off two monster games, he gets a great game script to put up a monster outing. Also keep an eye on the Notre Dame backfield as this might be the softest defenses they have faced this year.

CFB DFS Wide Receiver Rankings

WR GPP Rankings  Per $ WR Cash Rankings  Per $
1 Dylan Wright 1 Rashee Rice
2 Rashee Rice 2 Jalin Hyatt
3 Jalin Hyatt 3 Xavier Hutchinson
4 Michael Mayer 4 Dylan Wright
5 A.T. Perry 5 Michael Mayer
6 Xavier Hutchinson 6 Beaux Collins
7 Xavier Worthy 7 Cam Camper
8 Jalen McGaughy 8 Joel Wilson
9 Jerand Bradley 9 Mitchell Tinsley
10 Dominic Lovett 10 A.T. Perry

Not to be put on repeat, but the easy cash game play is Rashee Rice who has been over 33 fantasy points in every game this year. After Rice, players such as Mayer, Collins and Tinsley make for nice cash game options but are less likely to bust the slate as others.

Not many will play Wright, which is why he makes for an excellent GPP play. He is likely to assume the number one WR role for Minnesota with the loss of Chris Autman-Bell. The former 4-star transfer has all the tools and an incredibly low price.

Injuries are also huge at WR this week as both Josh Downs and Cedric Tillman are questionable, keep an eye on both as the week goes.
