Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 11:
George Pickens, WR, Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens comes into Week 11 as the WR5 in half-PPR scoring, largely on the strength of what he was able to accomplish while teammate CeeDee Lamb was sidelined with an ankle injury. In the three games that Lamb missed, Pickens averaged 120 yards per game while scoring four touchdowns and finishing as the weekly WR2, WR19, and WR1.
In the three games since Lamb's return, Pickens has failed to find the endzone, and he finished as a top-24 wide receiver only once (WR20 in Week 8). However, he has still seen nine targets in two out of three games while averaging nearly 80 receiving yards per game. In Week 11, as many teams start to face inclement weather, the Cowboys will be playing in a dome against a Las Vegas Raiders team that has been one of the most generous to fantasy receivers.
Dallas is coming out of their bye week and has one of the highest implied point totals of the week, giving both Lamb and Pickens a legitimate shot to finish as top-12 receivers.
Rashee Rice, WR, Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice made his season debut in Week 7 against the Raiders and has immediately been one of the best fantasy wide receivers in the league. Rice has totaled 20 receptions on 26 targets for 215 yards and three touchdowns while adding four carries for 18 yards and another touchdown on the ground.
The 25-year-old is averaging 22.4 PPR points per game, ranking as the WR5 in that span. Rice is one of just five wideouts to average over 20 PPR points per game on the season and should be ready to crush after the bye week as Patrick Mahomes' clear No. 1 target.
Head coach Andy Reid has even given him carries near the goal line this season as the Chiefs work through their running back problems. With his high target volume and usage near the end zone, Rice is locked and loaded as a top-five fantasy receiver for the rest of the season.
DeVonta Smith, WR, Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith caught four of his six targets for 69 yards and a touchdown in a 10-7 win over the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football. Smith was one of the few bright spots for Philadelphia in an otherwise ugly offensive performance.
His 36-yard touchdown catch was the highlight play of the game, as he beat the safety over the top and then elevated to secure the contested grab. The 27-year-old has been on a tear recently, recording 31 catches for 499 yards and two touchdowns on 41 targets over his last five games, averaging 18.6 PPR points per game.
Smith will look to continue his strong production in Week 11 on Sunday Night Football against the Detroit Lions.
Kyren Williams, RB, Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams has seen a reduced role in the backfield this season. Despite that, Williams continues to find ways to succeed, which he did once again on Sunday.
Williams rushed 14 times for 73 yards and scored two touchdowns in the win over the San Francisco 49ers. He has now scored three touchdowns over his last two games.
The biggest downside is that Williams continues to split up the backfield duties with Blake Corum. The Rams might need to rely on Williams more heavily next weekend in what could be a high-scoring affair against the Seattle Seahawks.
Davante Adams, WR, Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that wide receiver Davante Adams (oblique) will not practice on Wednesday, but he's expected to be "ready to play" on Sunday against the division-rival Seattle Seahawks in Week 11, according to Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times.
Adams sustained an oblique injury in Sunday's victory over the San Francisco 49ers, but it's clearly not a major injury for the 32-year-old pass-catcher, so he should be available for fantasy managers this weekend in a very important divisional matchup. Adams didn't return to the Week 10 game, but McVay said the veteran wideout could have made it back if it had been a close game.
Teammate Puka Nacua continues to be a target hog in this offense, but there has been enough to go around for Adams, too, and the six-time Pro Bowler has found the end zone a league-high nine times in nine games. Start Adams in all leagues if he's ready to go by Sunday, despite the tough matchup.
