hWeek 4 Outlooks For Fantasy Football

James Cook, Buffalo Bills - Fantasy Football Outlook

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook, the current RB6 in fantasy football, draws his toughest test yet of the 2024 season. The Baltimore Ravens allow a league-low 50 rushing yards per game, 21 yards fewer than the next team on the list.

The Raiders and Cowboys' subpar rushing attacks brought the average down, but the Ravens limited Isiah Pacheco to three yards per carry in Week 1. While the Ravens are stout against the run, they allow the eighth-most receptions to running backs, an area where Cook can thrive.

As hot as the Buffalo offense is, it's impossible to shy away from Josh Allen, Cook, and the other big names on the Bills. Start Cook as a low-end RB1 in Week 4.

- Andrew Ball, RotoBaller

Jerome Ford, Cleveland Browns - Fantasy Football Outlook

Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford (knee) has been cleared to play in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday after putting in a full practice on Friday. Ford was held out of practice on Wednesday, creating some uncertainty about his status this week, but he returned to a limited session the following day.

Fellow RB Pierre Strong Jr. (hamstring) missed practice all week and will be held out again this weekend. The Browns have involved D'Onta Foreman some, but Ford remains the team's lead back for as long as Nick Chubb (knee) remains out.

The 25-year-old Ford has 39 total touches for 203 yards and one touchdown through three games in 2024 and will enter the Week 4 contest in Vegas as an RB3/flex play for fantasy managers against a banged-up Raiders defense. The Raiders defense has been extremely vulnerable on the ground early on, so Ford has considerable upside in this matchup this week.

- Keith Hernandez, RotoBaller

J.K. Dobbins, Los Angeles Chargers - Fantasy Football Outlook

Los Angeles Chargers running back J.K. Dobbins will look to bounce back in a Week 4 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Dobbins was outstanding in Weeks 1 and 2, averaging 20.5 fantasy points per game before slowing down to a 6.9-point performance in Week 3.

He still played 65% of the team's offensive snaps in Week 3. It was just a down week in general for the Chargers offense. Dobbins is having an excellent start to the season, ranking fourth in explosive run rate and sixth in missed tackles per attempt.

Dobbins is involved as a runner and pass catcher and is firmly in the RB2 conversation despite a tough Chiefs run defense in Week 4.

- David A. Marcillo, RotoBaller
