The Minnesota Vikings have waived offensive linemen Trevor Reid and defensive back NaJee Thompson. Reid, soon to be 25, was on his third team in two seasons (Falcons, Eagles) but has yet to garner a snap since signing as an undrafted free agent with Philadelphia in 2023. He was waived with a non-football injury designation. Thompson, on the other hand, followed a similar path to the NFL, though the Vikings were the team that signed him. He appeared in 15 games two seasons ago, logging seven tackles (five solo) and a fumble recovery. However, he spent all of 2024 on Injured Reserve after suffering a knee injury in January. The 24-year-old was waived after failing a physical, as his knee has yet to fully recover.--Alex Ciulla
