The Seattle Seahawks have signed starting right tackle Abraham Lucas to a three-year contract extension. Lucas, a 2022 third-round pick, has battled injuries the past two seasons but has remained a reliable starter whenever on the field, logging 13 appearances across that span. The Seahawks view the 26-year-old as a cornerstone piece of their offensive line, particularly in the run game. Lucas is expected to play a key role in improving a rushing attack that ranked just 28th in the league last season, with Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet leading the backfield. Seattle also invested in its line by drafting first-round pick Grey Zabel, signaling a commitment to establishing a more physical identity up front.
