Earl Thomas Not A Lock To Be With Team
7 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said "we'll see" when asked if safety Earl Thomas will be with the team when the season begins. Thomas is officially holding out while looking for a new contract. He was the subject of trade rumors around the draft, but nothing worked out. It'd probably be in Seattle's best interest to keep Thomas around, as he's still one of the better all-around safeties in the league, and they'll need him even more with cornerback Richard Sherman no longer around. This standoff could last well into training camp, though.
