Florida Panthers center Aleksander Barkov (knee) might miss the entire 2025-26 season after having knee surgery on Friday. The exact timeline of Barkov's potential return is not yet known, but he's expected to miss several months. Florida is also without Matthew Tkachuk (groin) to start the year, so the team's offense will look quite different this season. Barkov's injury will give Sam Bennett the first-line center job, while Anton Lundell will move up to the second line. Lundell flirted with a 50-point campaign last season and could become a popular target for fantasy managers in 2025-26.--Taavi Pailk
