Artemi Panarin Cleared for Contact
New York Rangers left wing Artemi Panarin (lower body) has been cleared for contact, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports. The Russian superstar suffered a lower-body injury in practice a week ago. Panarin still wore a non-contact jersey in Friday's practice, but he seems to be on track to be ready for opening night on Oct. 7 against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Having racked up nearly 400 points over the past four campaigns, Panarin has proven himself as one of the most consistent offensive stars in the NHL and is poised for another big fantasy year.
