According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Brooklyn Nets forward Day'Ron Sharpe intends to sign a two-year, $12 million deal to return to the Nets. On Sunday, the organization decided to decline the $5.98 million option and let Sharpe head into unrestricted free agency. However, Nets management has since worked on a deal to keep the 23-year-old in Brooklyn after coming off his career-best season in 2024-25. He posted averages of 7.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 18.2 minutes per game across 50 outings.
