4 months agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Danny Duffy posted his worst start of the season on Saturday when he allowed eight earned runs to the Twins in just 4 2/3 innings. Duffy allowed eight hits, including four home runs, to the heavy-hitting AL Central leaders, and struck out five along the way. Duffy still flashes moments of brilliance like a couple outings ago when he struck out 11 in six innings while beating the Braves, but he mixes in enough clunkers to leave him with a season ERA just shy of 5.00. He really shouldn't be rostered in most leagues, and at best, he should be very particularly spot started by those who do own him.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
