Chase Meidroth Removed Early on Monday With Ankle Sprain
Chase Meidroth (ankle) was forced to make an early exit from Monday's game against the Minnesota Twins. It's unclear when Meidroth suffered the injury, but he was lifted late in the game due to a right ankle sprain. He finished the day 1-for-4 with a homer and two RBI. It doesn't appear to be a serious injury, so fantasy managers should consider Meidroth as day-to-day. He should be able to avoid a trip to the injured list, but fantasy managers should check back on Tuesday for another update. Lenyn Sosa shifted over to second base after Meidroth's departure. Sosa figures to see increased playing time over there if Meidroth misses time.
