New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo (ankle) burst onto the scene as a rookie in 2025, recording 617 yards from scrimmage and seven touchdowns on 125 touches across the first eight weeks of the season. Unfortunately for Skattebo and the Giants, the 24-year-old suffered a season-ending ankle injury in Week 8 that cut his rookie campaign short. On the bright side, Skattebo is expected to make a full recovery and should be a full participant in Giants training camp. Skattebo currently projects as the RB1 in New York heading into 2026, although fellow back Tyrone Tracy Jr. will certainly warrant some touches as well. However, the Giants have been linked to University of Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love, who is widely considered the number one prospect at the position in the 2026 NFL Draft. If the Giants do indeed select Love, Skattebo's dynasty stock would take a major hit. Assuming New York does not make a major addition at running back, Skattebo looks well-positioned to establish himself as a workhorse back in 2026.--Will Brady
