Baker Mayfield Resumes Throwing on Friday
Baker Mayfield (biceps) resumed throwing the football before practice on Friday, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. Mayfield has been limited in practice this week with a biceps injury in his right arm. The 30-year-old veteran is one of the toughest players in the league and is expected to be active in a Week 4 showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles, but it's fair to wonder if he'll be limited in what he can do down the field on Sunday. He was seen wearing a sleeve on his right throwing arm on Thursday. In addition to potentially not being 100 percent this weekend, Mayfield will be without top receiver Mike Evans, who is expected to miss multiple weeks with a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 3. In a less-than-ideal matchup against Philly, Mayfield should be viewed as a shaky QB streamer this week in fantasy.
