Chris Godwin Returns to Practice, Expected to Play in Week 4?
Chris Godwin (ankle) is practicing Friday and "looks fine," according to FOX Sports' Greg Auman. It wasn't specifically stated in what capacity the Penn State product practiced, but it's excellent news after he was tagged with a DNP the day prior. Godwin is trending toward making his return to the field in Week 4, and it comes at a perfect time with running mate Mike Evans (hamstring) dealing with a multi-week hamstring injury. If Godwin does suit up, it's reasonable to believe that Tampa Bay will be cautious with his reps. If that's the case, fellow wideouts Sterling Shepard, Ryan Miller, and Tez Johnson will all work behind Godwin and rookie Emeka Egbuka in some capacity.
