Joshua Van Becomes Second-Youngest UFC Champion
In the co-main event of UFC 323, Joshua Van became the new flyweight champion after Alexandre Pantoja suffered a freak injury that forced the referee to stop the fight. Less than 30 seconds into the fight, Pantoja threw a headkick that Van caught. As Pantoja went down, something in his arm dislocated. It looked like Pantoja broke his arm, but it was later confirmed that Pantoja dislocated his elbow. In 26 seconds of action, Van landed two significant strikes.
