NBA reporter Marc Stein reports that Brooklyn Nets guard Egor Demin (foot) will miss the rest of the season due to plantar fasciitis in his left foot, a condition he's been dealing with most of this campaign. The Nets are being cautious with the 20-year-old rookie guard in hopes that he is fully recovered and ready to go for next season. Through 52 appearances this year, he posted averages of 10.3 points, 3.3 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 2.4 three-pointers across 25.2 minutes per game. With Demin unavailable, Nolan Traore, Terance Mann, and Ziaire Williams could take on heavier workloads for the forseeable future.--Andrew Lennox
