Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider drafting in 2026:
Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson and quarterback JJ McCarthy couldn't get on the same page last season, limiting Jefferson to the worst season of his career. The 26-year-old caught 84 of 144 targets for two touchdowns while adding seven yards on two rushes. He owned 30.2% of the team's target share, but it took 144 targets for Jefferson to log his fifth-straight 1,000-yard campaign.
Before last year, Jefferson averaged 99 catches for 1,486 yards and eight touchdowns in his previous five seasons. He was plagued by poor quarterback play, which also limited other top offensive weapons, wide receiver Jordan Addison and tight end T.J. Hockenson. Before 2025, Minnesota had high-octane offenses under head coach Kevin O'Connell, and the team is set to turn things around this season with most of the offense returning.
The Vikings signed Kyler Murray to a one-year deal in March after the Cardinals released him. Murray competed with McCarthy for the Vikings' starting quarterback job during training camp and ended up winning the starting gig. The former No. 1 overall pick will look to revitalize his career and get Jefferson back on track as an elite fantasy WR1.
Jefferson's fantasy value solely relies on whether Murray can bounce back. At RotoBaller, he's currently ranked as WR6 and is projected to rack up 108 catches for 1,395 yards and eight touchdowns in 2026, making him a borderline first-round pick heading into 2026 fantasy football drafts.
Tetairoa McMillan, Carolina Panthers
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan was selected with the eighth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and was immediately pushed into the WR1 role in the Carolina offense. In his debut campaign, McMillan saw 122 targets and brought in 70 of them for 1,014 yards and seven touchdowns. His lower reception total gave him a slight boost in half-PPR scoring as he finished as the WR15, compared to the WR16 in PPR leagues.
In the offseason, the Panthers did not make any major additions to the wide receiver room, leaving the Arizona product as the clear WR1, as he will share the field with unproven options such as Jalen Coker and Xavier Legette. While both have shown upside at times, they have yet to operate as a true complement in this offense over a full 17-game season. While his target share should keep his floor stable, McMillan's ceiling could be much higher in his second season.
Down the stretch, his QB, Bryce Young, showed steady progression as he averaged 214 yards per game over his last seven contests, compared to the pedestrian 166 yards per game over the first nine games. Even though McMillan carries a high price tag in relation to his rookie performance (WR15) at an ADP of 33.0 in PPR Sleeper drafts, his massive projected volume and improving quarterback will set him up to contend for a WR1 campaign.
Quinshon Judkins, Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins (ankle) had an eventful rookie season that, somehow, still left a major imprint in fantasy football. Judkins overcame tribulations stemming from a July arrest related to a domestic violence charge - from which he was cleared - to join Cleveland's backfield in Week 2, and he handled 230 of the Browns' 353 total running back carries despite breaking his leg in Week 15 against the Bills.
The team's struggling passing game required Judkins to face a stacked box on a whopping 45.2% of snaps, so his first-glance efficiency metrics don't tell the full story as much as ranking fourth in rushing yards against stacked boxes (356), per NFL's Next Gen Stats. The 22-year-old underwent surgery in late December to address a dislocated right ankle he suffered in Week 16. Cleveland went to work improving its offensive line and wide receiver corps in both free agency and the 2026 NFL Draft, drafting rookie WRs Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion, and OL Spencer Fano, creating a better situation for Judkins even with Deshaun Watson under center.
Likely due to Judkins' positive prognosis for returning to full football activities in June, the Browns did not add a running back despite losing Jerome Ford to Washington in free agency, suggesting the sophomore's monopoly on early-down and goal-line touches should remain, even with a new coach, Todd Monken, calling plays. The running back's sixth-round ADP (63 overall) on Sleeper could be far too late if the offensive improvements manifest in an opportunity to produce double-digit touchdowns, and his role on passing downs could always increase. Dylan Sampson isn't deemed to be as effective in that role as hoped, and Judkins should be the bellcow in Cleveland's offense as long as he's healthy.
RotoBaller has Judkins ranked 56th overall, making him a value pick at his current Sleeper ADP.
Romeo Doubs, New England Patriots
Romeo Doubs signed a four-year, $68 million contract with the New England Patriots this offseason. Doubs' time as New England's No. 1 wide receiver was short-lived when the Patriots acquired A.J. Brown from the Eagles in June. The 26-year-old is expected to play primarily out of the slot for the Patriots and should see more favorable matchups, as defenses will focus on shutting down Brown.
Doubs never logged a 1,000-yard season or even a 100-yard game during the regular season in his tenure at Green Bay, but balled out when it mattered by averaging 123.7 receiving yards in four playoff games. The Patriots have a lot of success with receivers playing out of the slot and recently let go of Stefon Diggs, who racked up 1,103 yards and four touchdowns while lining up inside the slot 45-50% of the time last season.
Doubs is set as New England's No. 2 wide receiver, but will compete with not only Brown, but Mack Hollins, DeMario Douglas, and Kyle Williams for targets. RotoBaller has Doubs ranked as WR53 and 122 overall, which aligns with his Sleeper ADP of 123. Coming off a massive contract, the Patriots will find ways to get Doubs the ball, but he is more of a weekly FLEX play given the competition for targets and the Pats' tougher schedule heading into 2026.
Marvin Harrison Jr., Arizona Cardinals
Since being selected fourth overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has struggled to live up to the hype he received as a prospect. The 23-year-old ran into a string of poor injury luck in 2025, suffering a concussion and missing time due to appendicitis before finally being placed on season-ending Injured Reserve with heel and foot issues.
Still, Harrison Jr. was not particularly effective when on the field, recording 41 receptions for 608 yards and four touchdowns on 73 targets across 12 games. By the time he went out for the year, Harrison Jr. had fallen to the number three target in Arizona behind superstar tight end Trey McBride and breakout wide receiver Michael Wilson. The Cardinals overhauled their coaching staff over the offseason, which could help provide Harrison Jr. with a much-needed fresh start.
Harrison Jr. remains a high-upside wide receiver and could be a worthy buy-low target for fantasy managers, but he should be viewed as a boom/bust WR3/flex option in redraft formats heading into 2026.
