Memphis Grizzlies guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (finger) is going to undergo surgery to address the misalignment of his right pinky finger, and after the surgery, the team should be able to provide a firmer timeline of when he'll be able to return this season, if at all. KCP gets plenty of minutes when healthy, but is not a major fantasy contributor. Without him, there is more time for Jaylen Wells, Ty Jerome, Scotty Pippen Jr., and the rest of the Grizzlies younger options in the backcourt and on the wings. The Grizzlies spot in the standings makes it unlikely they push their veterans to return and instead use the rest of the year to evaluate players who could have a role in the future.--Zach Thompson
