Today's NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings, FanDuel DFS Lineups, Values, Stacks (Thursday, 2/5/26)

Cooper Flagg - Fantasy Basketball Rankings, NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Today's free NBA DFS picks for DraftKings, FanDuel (February 5th, 2026). Zach's daily fantasy basketball lineups, values, stacks, pivots, sleepers for NBA DFS.

Welcome Back, RotoBallers! After the NBA trade deadline officially passes on Thursday afternoon, the NBA has six games on the main DFS fantasy basketball slate as the dust starts to settle from all the moves and teams get ready for their final push to the end of the season. In total, there are eight games on the scoreboard, but both DraftKings and FanDuel are focusing on the first six games for the main slate and leaving the two games that tip off at 10:00 p.m. ET on a different slate.

Of the 12 teams in the player pool, the Rockets, Spurs, and Raptors are playing for the second day in a row. Even more than usual, you'll need to stay fluid with your lineups on this Thursday since teams could make moves before the deadline that shake up who's available and who's out. You'll also need to keep a close eye on the injury report updates when finalizing your strategy. Some notable names have already been ruled out, including new-Wizard Anthony Davis, Trae Young, Keyonte George, Josh Giddey, and Jaren Jackson Jr. While Cade Cunningham, Onyeka Okongwu, Jalen Green, Daniel Gafford, and Ayo Dosunmu all remain questionable. There are many more players out, and there will undoubtedly be players who pop up on the injury report today, or even get ruled out, so keep a close eye on the NBA injury news and make adjustments as needed.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 2/5/26. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 p.m. ET on FanDuel and DraftKings. Today's NBA DFS Projections

Let's take a peek at the RotoBaller NBA Optimizer to see who our projections like tonight.

Isaiah Collier leads the way today, coming off a 22-assist game where he played nearly the entire game. With Keyonte George out again tonight, he looks like he could be the best play on the board.

Today's NBA DFS Core Picks

Jalen Johnson, ATL - PF on DK, SF/PF on FD

  • DraftKings: $10.5K
  • FanDuel: $11K

Johnson posted a second straight triple-double on Tuesday, leading his team past the Heat with 29 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists, 64.2 DraftKings points, and 56.7 FanDuel points.

During his breakout season, Johnson is averaging 49.6 FanDuel points and 52.6 DraftKings points per game, and he's on an impressive run right now of at least 58 DraftKings points in five of his last seven games. He's helped the Hawks go 5-2 in those seven games and is the centerpiece of the newly re-made rotation that will include Jonathan Kuminga once he arrives from Golden State.

Johnson is in his third straight smash matchup on Thursday as his Hawks host the shorthanded and defense-deficient Jazz. He pummeled the Pacers and beat the Heat to start the week, but the Jazz have been the most generous matchup for opposing power forwards all season. While Utah improved its defense at the deadline, those pieces are not expected to play on Thursday, and with a heavy workload and a great matchup, Johnson is a great core pay-up play to build around this Thursday.

Ayo Dosunmu, CHI - SG/SF on DK, SG on FD

  • DraftKings: $6.4K
  • FanDuel: $6.4K

The Bulls have been one of the most active teams at the trade deadline, swapping out almost their entire backcourt with the exceptions of Dosunmu and Josh Giddey (hamstring), who has already been ruled out for Thursday's road game in Toronto. Dosunmu is questionable with quad tendinitis, but if he plays through that tag, he brings an incredibly high ceiling in what should be a very active, multi-faceted role. Tre Jones (hamstring) is also questionable, but he has missed the last seven games and could be limited even if he's available.

With Anfernee Simons, Collin Sexton, and Jaden Ivey all figuring into the rotation eventually, Dosunmu's long-term role is murky, but with Coby White, Kevin Huerter, Dalen Terry, and Nikola Vucevic all traded away, plenty of short-term usage should be available. Dosunmu played 28 minutes against the Bucks on Tuesday and had 17 points, eight assists, and 39 DraftKings points. He was even better last Saturday while filling a larger role, racking up 29 points, nine assists, eight rebounds, and 56.5 DraftKings points in 36 minutes against the Heat.

He has that kind of ceiling if he's a full go this Thursday, so keep an eye on his injury status and build around him if he's ready to carry the workload. There's also a chance that he could be traded like so many of his teammates, so make sure to confirm his availability before locking him into your lineup.

Today's NBA DFS GPP Pivots

Cooper Flagg, DAL - PG/SF on DK, PG/SG/SF on FD

  • DraftKings: $8.7K
  • FanDuel: $9.5K

One player not likely to be traded anywhere for a long time is the No. 1 pick from last year's NBA Draft, Cooper Flagg. Flagg has had some inconsistent stretches this season, but he has been heating up lately and catches the Spurs on the second night of a back-to-back in Dallas on Thursday night.

Flagg has posted three straight monster games over the last week. He had 49 points, 10 rebounds, and 70 DraftKings points last Thursday against the Hornets, scoring the most points by a player under 20 years of age in NBA history. He followed that up with 34 points, 12 rebounds, and 59.5 DraftKings points in a loss to Houston last Saturday, and he fell just one rebound short of another double-double with 36 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and 60.75 DraftKings points on Tuesday against the Celtics.

The rookie can still be a little boom-or-bust, but he's got great momentum coming into this contest, and the Mavs have made multiple moves to build around him as the centerpiece of their franchise moving forward. This matchup isn't an easy one against the Spurs, but it is a spotlight game, and the rookie has shown the ability and propensity to post monster stat lines on big stages like this one. He'll get more usage with P.J. Washington (concussion) still out, Brandon Williams (leg) and Daniel Gafford (ankle) questionable, and trade pieces likely not available.

Isaiah Collier, UTA - PG

  • DraftKings: $6.9K
  • FanDuel: $7.4K

While filling in for Keyonte George on Tuesday, Jazz point guard Isaiah Collier went off for 22 assists, which was not only his new career-high but also the most assists handed out by any player in any game this season.

He added 17 points, five rebounds, and three steals for an impressive 62.75 DraftKings points, and he has at least 30 DraftKings points in five of his last six games, even with George normally in the lineup. With George out again on Thursday, Collier gets a favorable matchup against the Hawks. He probably won't duplicate that impressive stat line, but he should get extremely high usage and have the potential to produce in multiple categories in Utah's stop in Atlanta, which has the highest point total on the board this Thursday by a wide margin.

Today's NBA DFS Value Picks

Moussa Diabate, CHA - C

  • DraftKings: $5.2K
  • FanDuel: $5.5K

The Hornets have suddenly turned into a very entertaining team to watch, and they made some nice pickups at the trade deadline as well. One of the players emerging as a fantasy value has been center Moussa Diabate, who is sharing time with rookie Ryan Kalkbrenner.

In that shared role, Diabate can still be a little boom-or-bust and only had two points and 16.2 DraftKings points in his last game, but his upside is also enormous. He flashed his ceiling with an 18-point, 19-rebound game against the Grizzlies that earned him 51.2 DraftKings points last week, and he also had a strong double-double with 39 DraftKings points against the Spurs last Saturday. He's volatile, but his ceiling makes him a good value, while his constant intensity makes him very fun to watch.

Caleb Martin, DAL - PF on DK, SF on FD

  • DraftKings: $4.2K
  • FanDuel $4.4K

Martin should play a larger role for the Mavs with Washington out, multiple questionable players, and trade acquisitions likely not available. The versatile forward played 29 minute son Tuesday against Boston, chipping in 13 points and 24.2 DraftKings points. He has over 20 DraftKings points in five straight games and flashed more upside with 28+ DraftKings points in four of his last 10.

Yuki Kawamura, CHI -PG

  • DraftKings: $3.6K
  • FanDuel $3.8K

With so many uncertainties in Chicago, Kawamura has played solid minutes in the last three games, and if Dosunmu is also traded or ruled out before Thursday's game, he could have even more work coming his way.  After not playing in any NBA games until Jan. 31, Kawamura has played 27 and 26 minutes in the Bulls' last two games, averaging 5.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 6.7 assists for 24.1 DraftKings points per game. In theory, the Bulls could have some trade acquisitions in Toronto who are ready for their Bulls' debuts, but if not, Kawamura should have another busy night as a bargain play.

Marcus Sasser, DET - PG

  • DraftKings: $3K
  • FanDuel $3.7K

The Detroit Pistons listed Cade Cunningham (injury management) as questionable and Daniss Jenkins as out (G League - Two Way) for their extremely favorable Thursday night matchup against the Wizards. With another matchup against the Knicks on Friday, they could give both players the night off or at least try to manage Cade's workload, setting up Sasser with a huge workload. Jenkins has been excellent when Cunningham has been out, but he is almost at the maximum games in the NBA on his two-way contract. The Pistons could convert him to a regular deal, especially after trading Ivey, but if that doesn't happen before Thursday night, Jenkins looks unlikely to play.

Sasser had 10 points and 23 DraftKings points in just 15 minutes against the Nets on Sunday in a blowout and scored 18 and 19 points in games around New Year's against the Heat and Lakers with expanded playing time. If he gets 20+ minutes, he has the potential to be an elite value on Thursday in Washington, so check how the situation shakes out before tip-off.
