Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 14:
Omarion Hampton, RB, Chargers
Los Angeles Chargers rookie first-round running back Omarion Hampton (ankle) has already resumed practicing with the team and could make his return for a Monday night showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 14. "We opened his window, and we certainly wouldn't have done that 21-day window if he wasn't close. I feel like he's been on track, and we'll let the week play out again," head coach Jim Harbaugh said when asked about Hampton's timeline for a return.
The 22-year-old was limited in practice last week, and he might need a full practice this week to be cleared to play next Monday for the first time since he fractured his ankle in Week 5 against the Washington Commanders. The North Carolina product could split backfield duties with Kimani Vidal upon his return, but eventually, Hampton should be the Bolts' clear lead back. Hampton should not be on the waiver wire in any fantasy football leagues.
RJ Harvey, RB, Broncos
Denver Broncos rookie running back RJ Harvey scored twice in Sunday's 27-26 overtime win over the Washington Commanders. Harvey had 13 carries for 35 yards and two touchdowns, while adding three catches for 27 yards on four targets. While Harvey out-touched backup running back Jaleel McLaughin 16 to seven, the most encouraging part about that was seeing him get the goal-line touchdowns.
Down the stretch, Harvey will likely be forced into a key contributor role in the Broncos' offense as he now has eight touchdowns in his rookie year. After having only six touches for 18 total yards when Harvey faced the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 10, he will be poised for more work during their Week 14 rematch. Despite the rough outing in the previous matchup against the Raiders, Harvey is a must-start and a borderline RB1 heading into Week 14.
Quinshon Judkins, RB, Browns
Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins carried the ball 23 times for 91 yards while catching all three of his targets for 18 yards and rushing for a two-point conversion in a 26-8 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13. Judkins continued to dominate the Cleveland backfield as Dylan Sampson got just four carries and was the only other running back to take a handoff for the Browns.
Judkins has been excellent in his rookie season, rushing for 758 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games thus far. He will be a low-end RB1 in fantasy in Week 14's home game against the Tennessee Titans.
Tyler Warren, TE, Colts
Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren caught three of his four targets for 22 yards and a touchdown in a 20-16 loss to the Houston Texans in Week 13. Warren popped up on the injury report with an illness over the weekend, prompting the Colts to list him as questionable for the contest. He ultimately was able to play through the illness and hauled in a 12-yard touchdown to tie the game at 13-13 in the third quarter.
Warren has been impressive in his rookie season, catching 58 passes for 684 yards and scoring six all-purpose touchdowns in 12 games. He will be a solid TE1 in Week 14's road matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Dylan Sampson, RB, Browns
Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said on Monday that rookie running back Dylan Sampson (calf) is being considered day-to-day after suffering a calf injury in Sunday's loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13, according to Zac Jackson of The Athletic. Sampson was injured in the third quarter of the 26-8 loss and never returned, giving way for Jerome Ford to see more work as the RB2 behind rookie starter Quinshon Judkins.
Before leaving, the 21-year-old had four carries for 23 yards on the ground. It sounds like Sampson will have a chance to play in Week 14 against the Tennessee Titans, but it will depend on how much he's able to do in practice this week. Sampson doesn't have any standalone fantasy value while working behind Judkins in Cleveland's backfield, but he's a viable handcuff in deeper leagues. The Tennessee product has averaged just 2.7 yards per carry on 42 rushing attempts in his first 12 NFL games and has yet to score a rushing touchdown in 2025.
