Check all of your league waiver wires, and don't just sort by next week's projection. You know what they say about assuming. Don't assume that certain running backs are rostered.
Trey Benson, Kareem Hunt, and Woody Marks are all rostered in more than 60% of leagues. That number should be much higher, especially for two of those names. That means they're available in about 40%.
So, should fantasy managers prioritize adding Trey Benson, Kareem Hunt, or Woody Marks in Week 11? Let's dive in and find out.

Trey Benson Week 11 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 61% of Leagues
Baller Move: Add in All Leagues
The Emari Demercado-Zonovan Knight-Michael Carter parade needs to come to an end. With quarterback Jacoby Brissett running the offense, there's gold to be mined out of the Arizona backfield. But first, it has to go from a multi-headed backfield to a one-man show.
Benson, who suffered a knee injury in Week 4, is eligible to come off the injured reserve list now, but it's unclear when he actually will do so. Last week, head coach Jonathan Gannon spewed coach speak, "What does close mean? I don't know what close means. Take it day by day, but he's doing well. He's progressing."
We have a timeline that's clear as mud and a 21-day practice window that hasn't been opened. It's still not too early for fantasy managers to stash Benson.
He will be Arizona's lead running back when he returns and is worth a spot on nearly every bench in fantasy football. It's even better if your league has a designated IR spot for him to slide into and not take up a bench spot. It may be another week or two, maybe longer, but he'll be in immediate flex consideration once he's back in the lineup.
Kareem Hunt Week 11 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 62% of Leagues
Baller Move: Add in 12-team leagues
Remember when Kareem Hunt was barely hanging onto a job with the Cleveland Browns? They had moved on, only to give him another contract after an injury to Nick Chubb. An injury to Isiah Pacheco is the only reason he was brought back to Kansas City last season. It's also the reason he's fantasy-relevant in 2025.
Hunt played a touchdown-or-bust role in a rotation with Pacheco (and a sprinkle of Brashard Smith) early in the season. He started and took on more of a role with Pacheco (knee) sidelined in Week 9. Coming off the bye, it looks like Pacheco could miss another game.
Chiefs' personnel updates from Andy Reid
- Reid confirmed Josh Simmons is indeed back. He said "we'll see" in terms of his return to the lineup
- Reid nudged that RB Isiah Pacheco (knee) may take more time, while RT Jawaan Taylor (ankle) felt OK by the time he returned from…— Pete Sweeney (@pgsween) November 10, 2025
The upcoming matchups aren't ideal: A date with Denver and a contest with the Colts. But a starting running back is a starting running back, and Patrick Mahomes can easily navigate the Chiefs' offense to the one-yard line, where Hunt shines.
Woody Marks Week 11 Waiver Wire Pickups
Rostered: 65% of Leagues
Baller Move: Add in All Leagues
We've been here before, and we were played for fools, but this time feels different: Woody Marks may be officially taking over the Houston backfield.
The rookie dominated touches and snaps compared to Nick Chubb. The veteran played a season-low 10 snaps and was given six touches. Marks earned 16 touches on 60 (80%) of the snaps.
It was an odd game script. The Texans trailed Jacksonville by double-digits for nearly the entire game and only took the lead with 30 seconds remaining on the clock. That script better suits Marks, who is a better pass catcher and isn't afraid to pass block. But Marks also got all of the work near the goal line, something we hadn't seen until Sunday.

It seemed only a matter of time that a running back would supplant the aging Chubb in Houston's backfield, and Marks was the obvious candidate from the get-go. Even if Chubb gets more work against the Titans (a great matchup) in Week 11, Marks is still in the weekly flex conversation. He has at least 13 opportunities in all but one game since Week 4. If that number is bumped to 15 touches per game, he's in the RB2 range from here on out.
