Edmonton Oilers defenseman Mattias Ekholm (undisclosed) will miss Saturday's game against the Calgary Flames. The Swedish blue-liner came out of the lineup on Thursday against the Seattle Kraken and is not ready to return, missing a second consecutive game due to an undisclosed injury. This is the second time Ekholm has been forced to miss multiple games this month due to an injury, which must be worrying for the Oilers. However, there is still a bit to go until the postseason, giving Ekholm time to get healthy. Troy Stecher will get an opportunity to skate on the second defensive pairing in Saturday's game, while Ty Emberson will come into the lineup as John Klingberg's replacement.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
