Quinn Hughes Not Playing On Wednesday
Vancouver Canucks defenseman Quinn Hughes (undisclosed) will not be in the starting lineup on Wednesday evening when the Cancuks face the Anaheim Ducks. Hughes sustained an injury during their previous game on Saturday evening. Hughes was sidelined for six games in February and may have faced a setback. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status. Over his previous three games, he tallied just one point (a helper) while holding a -5 rating. Before his injury, Hughes tallied an impressive 17 points (six goals, 11 assists) over 13 games. During this span, he logged 15 blocked shots with 27 shots on goal. With Hughes sitting out this evening, fantasy managers should expect Elias Pettersson to draw into the starting lineup and Tyler Myers to move up to the top power-play unit.
