Columbus Blue Jackets left wing Kirill Marchenko (jaw) will be evaluated prior to Saturday's contest against the Chicago Blackhawks. The 24-year-old has been sidelined since the start of February after undergoing jaw surgery and was ruled out indefinitely. However, it appears Marchenko could be nearing a return and may be available right after the international break. Before his injury, Marchenko was enjoying a breakout campaign. In his last seven games, he tallied six points (three goals, three helpers) with 11 shots on goal. Through 53 total games, Marchenko has found the back of the net 21 times and tallied 34 helpers. He has averaged 2.71 shots on goal per game and added 39 hits and 26 blocks. If he can play, he will likely return to his spot on the top unit.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
