According to Frank Seravalli of DailyFaceoff.com, the New York Rangers have acquired center J.T. Miller from the Vancouver Canucks. The Rangers sent Filip Chytil and Victor Mancini a conditional first-round selection in the 2025 NHL Draft. In addition, the Rangers acquired Jackson Dorrington and Erik Brannstrom. Miller began his career in New York after being selected with the 15th-overall pick in the 2011 NHL Draft. Through his first five seasons with the Blueshirts (278 games), Millers tallied 132 points (59 goals, 73 helpers). He began his sixth season with the Rangers but was eventually traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning that season. After tallying a career-high 103 points in 2023, Miller has taken a step back this season, scoring just nine goals with 26 assists. Fantasy managers should expect Miller to have a key role in the New York offense. He is expected to suit up on Saturday afternoon to face the Boston Bruins.--Andy Smith
