Starting Pitcher Fantasy Baseball Rankings and Tiers - Roto Leagues (January Updates)

George Kirby - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

RotoBaller's roto fantasy baseball starting pitcher (SP) rankings, tiers for 5x5 mixed league drafts (January 2024 update). MLB tiered rankings for SP fantasy picks.

Hey, RotoBallers! We have published all our hitting positions already. It's now time to focus on pitchers. Pitchers and catchers will report in a few weeks, and Spring Training games will follow suit shortly after. We are here to help you build that league-winning staff with our MLB team's early 2024 fantasy baseball starting pitcher rankings and tiers for 5x5 mixed roto leagues. Most leagues require you to start nine pitchers altogether between starters and relievers. There is a plethora of pitching talent in 2024, but only a few aces stand out. Spencer Strider, Gerrit Cole, and Corbin Burnes are the only pitchers ranked in tier one.

Seattle Mariners right-hander George Kirby was a highly touted prospect and delivered for fantasy managers in 2023. The 25-year-old owned a 3.35 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and a 172: 19 K: BB across 190 2/3 innings. Kirby will take the next step and become an ace for most fantasy teams, as RotoBaller currently ranks him as the eighth-best pitcher. Detroit Tigers southpaw Tarik Skubal underwent flexor tendon surgery in August 2022 and made his 2023 season debut in July. The 27-year-old was impressive in his return from injury, posting a 2.80 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, and a 102: 14 K: BB across 80 1/3 innings last season. Find out where RotoBaller has Skubal and other key starters such as Eury Perez, Grayson Rodriguez, Justin Steele, Joe Ryan, Michael King, Paul Skenes, Andrew Abbott, Bryce Miller, and Mitch Keller rank for 2024 fantasy baseball drafts.

The starting pitcher rankings below are specifically designed for traditional 5x5 Roto Mixed Leagues (click here for points leagues, dynasty leagues, and prospect rankings). We also have many other tools and resources to help you win in 2024. We've worked hard to keep track of all off-season moves to get you covered for your fantasy baseball drafts with our 2024 Fantasy Baseball Draft Kit. It includes various fantasy baseball tools and exclusive articles/projections for different formats. We're also writing fresh daily articles analyzing this year's fantasy baseball sleepersbreakouts, and so much more. Win more in 2024!
