Recent Update

4/11:Seattle Mariners starter James Paxton looked sharp on Wednesday, striking out 10 batters through six innings of work against the Royals. Paxton worked himself out of a first-inning jam and then completely shut down the Royals offense. Paxton walked only one while allowing two runs, and his 10 strikeouts were a welcome sight. He hit 97 mph on the radar gun several times and finally looked more like the ace that mystified opponents in 2017. The Mariners offense is off to a solid start and Paxton could be in line for an uptick in wins this season if he continues to pitch like this every fifth day.--Joey C - RotoBaller
