Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 6:
Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (illness) will be listed as questionable with an illness for Week 6 on Sunday on the road against the New York Giants, according to Saints reporter Jeff Nowak. Olave has been under the weather this week and did not practice with the team on Wednesday or Thursday.
The 26-year-old high-end pass-catcher returned to the practice field on Friday, though, which is a good sign that he will be available for Sunday's road tilt against the New York Giants in Week 6. We should have a better idea by Sunday morning whether Olave is seriously in danger of missing this weekend's game, but for now, fantasy managers should plan on having him available as the Saints look to break their losing streak.
Olave, a former first-rounder from Ohio State, is a must-start receiver in fantasy when he is active. Going into Week 6, he ranks as the WR6 in half-PPR scoring, catching 39 of 54 targets for 537 yards and one touchdown. His 54 targets rank third among all wideouts, behind only Jaxon Smith-Njigba (one more game) and Amon-Ra St. Brown.
Malik Nabers, New York Giants
New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers (knee) believes he still has another 20 to 30 percent to reach as he works his way back from last year's torn ACL and meniscus, according to ESPN's Jordan Raanan. That's an encouraging assessment considering the 23-year-old has caught 17 passes for 233 yards and two touchdowns on 27 targets over his last two games.
Nabers followed a six-catch, 112-yard performance against Arizona in Week 4 with 11 receptions for 121 yards and another touchdown in Sunday's 27-27 tie against Washington. His 20 targets against the Commanders were a career high, demonstrating how heavily quarterback Jameis Winston has leaned on him in the passing game.
Nabers experienced some additional soreness in his surgically repaired knee last week but played through it without an apparent reduction in his workload. After a relatively quiet start to the season, he's beginning to resemble the receiver who caught 109 passes for 1,204 yards as a rookie in 2024. His recent target volume makes him a strong fantasy option heading into Sunday's Week 6 matchup against New Orleans.
Jaleel McLaughlin, Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Browns running back Jaleel McLaughlin has played a minimal role in his team's offense so far in 2026, recording just two carries for 31 yards and a touchdown across four games. However, the 26-year-old could be poised for a significant workload increase in Week 6 and beyond.
The Browns placed RB2 Raheim Sanders (hip) on Injured Reserve on Tuesday, guaranteeing that he will miss Cleveland's next four games. Additionally, starting running back Quinshon Judkins (ankle) suffered an ankle injury in the Browns' Week 5 loss to the New York Jets, which could threaten his availability in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens (listed as questionable).
Particularly in deeper league formats, fantasy managers may want to consider stashing McLaughlin off the waiver wire just in case he ends up leading the Cleveland backfield in Week 6.
Pierre Strong Jr., Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers running back Pierre Strong Jr. played 41% of the offensive snaps in his first game of the season against Chicago, but the production was limited. Strong rushed five times for seven yards and caught three of four targets for 11 yards. MarShawn Lloyd remained the lead option, handling 10 carries and scoring two touchdowns.
Chris Brooks (ankle) is on injured reserve, which has opened additional snaps in the backfield. Josh Jacobs is eligible to return in Week 7, so Strong's current role may last only one more game. Dallas has allowed an NFL-high 168.4 rushing yards per game, giving Green Bay a favorable matchup Sunday night. Strong's involvement in the passing game offers some value, but his limited workload and production make him difficult to trust. RotoBaller ranks Strong RB45 for Week 6, leaving him as a deep-league Flex option.
