Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 4:
Cam Skattebo, New York Giants
New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo appears to be a major factor in keeping the offense on track as the team searches for answers at the quarterback position following the season-ending knee injury to Jaxson Dart (knee). With Jameis Winston under center in a narrow Week 3 win over the Titans, Skattebo saw his heaviest involvement of the young season.
In a game for which Devin Singletary was made a healthy inactive, Skattebo carried the ball 20 times and added three catches for his first 100-yard game of the year. The Giants have since traded for former first-round pick J.J. McCarthy, who is expected to push Winston for the starting job, but in a John Harbaugh offense that ranked as the most run-heavy in the league in his final season in Baltimore, Skattebo figures to remain the engine of the offense, and he is RotoBaller's RB20 ahead of a Week 4 matchup with the Cardinals.
MarShawn Lloyd, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers running back MarShawn Lloyd rushed for 11 yards on four carries during Thursday's Week 3 loss against the Atlanta Falcons. He also caught two of his three targets for a modest seven receiving yards. Somehow, Lloyd's 11 rushing yards led the team, and his four carries tied with Chris Brooks for the team-high mark.
Green Bay's entire rushing attack was essentially nonexistent Thursday, which has become a similar theme for the Packers ever since Josh Jacobs was placed on the commissioner's exempt list. Lloyd has finished with single-digit fantasy points in all three games this year, including fewer than four points in two of those three. Any optimism that he might occupy a lead-back role in this backfield has faded away, as neither Lloyd nor Brooks is even worth starting in fantasy football. The 25-year-old can be left on the bench heading into Week 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals
Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown has gotten off to a slow start to the 2026 season despite heavy usage. In three games, Brown has 49 carries for 197 yards and a touchdown, plus 10 receptions for 32 yards, averaging 11.3 half-PPR fantasy points per game. Brown has played 70% of the snaps so far this season, which ranks among the best among NFL running backs.
However, his receiving role hasn't been as much of a factor, averaging just 10.7 yards per game through the air. He's relying more on his rushing ability, but that could be hard to come by in Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which allowed the fewest fantasy points in 2025 and has allowed the fourth-fewest rushing yards so far this season. While Brown is likely to bounce back, his receiving role will need to improve for him to be the low-end RB1 fantasy managers drafted him to be.
Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley has gotten off to a slow start to his 2026 season. In three games, Barkley has 34 carries for 174 yards and no touchdowns, along with three receptions for six yards. His current average of 6.5 half-PPR fantasy points per game ranks him RB37 on a per-game basis. While he's been efficient, averaging 5.1 yards per carry, his limited receiving and goal-line work with the Eagles' patented "tush push" have hurt his fantasy value early in the season.
With tough matchups against the Los Angeles Rams and the Jacksonville Jaguars in the next two weeks, Barkley may be unable to rebound. Fantasy managers should remain wary of Barkley's ceiling given his lack of valuable touches, though he remains a strong RB2 moving forward.
Mack Hollins, New England Patriots
New England Patriots wide receiver Mack Hollins stepped up for this offense this past weekend. Hollins hauled in six of his nine targets for 87 yards in the blowout loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Pats are without A.J. Brown (ankle) right now, so they needed someone to step up. Hollins did a nice job on Sunday and figures to earn himself a bigger role in the offense going forward.
The 33-year-old clearly has good chemistry with quarterback Drake Maye. Fantasy managers needing wide receiver help in deep leagues should consider adding Hollins ahead of the Week 4 matchup against the Buffalo Bills.
