Zach Dezenzo Pain-Free
Zach Dezenzo (hand) is pain-free after landing on the 10-day injured list in early June with a capsule strain in his left hand. Dezenzo hasn't swung a bat up until now, but now that he's pain-free, that should change this week. It's good news, but the 25-year-old former 12th-rounder in 2022 might still be several weeks from returning to the major-league roster. When Dezenzo does return, he'll likely resume serving as a utility player for Houston. He made his MLB debut in 2024 and hit .242 (15-for-62) with two homers and eight RBI in 19 games. In 34 games this year, Dezenzo has hit .245 (24-for-98) with two homers, 10 RBI, 17 runs scored and a stolen base. He has strong plate skills but is mostly just an asset in AL-only fantasy leagues for now.
