The Minnesota Vikings have elevated running back Cam Akers to their active roster ahead of Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Akers had made his season debut last week, rushing for 12 yards on five carries. He will continue to occupy the No. 3 running back role behind Jordan Mason and Zavier Scott with Aaron Jones (hamstring) still on injured reserve. The 26-year-old is merely a depth, change-of-pace option and should be avoided in all fantasy leagues.--Andersen Pickard
