1 year agoFree-agent starting pitcher Trevor Cahill said his agent has talked to the Oakland Athletics about re-signing. The team has interest in bringing him back as well as Edwin Jackson and possibly Brett Anderson. The right-hander has durability issues and hasn't made over 20 starts in a season since 2013 with the Diamondbacks, so he's more of a deep mixed asset, but he has strikeout upside (8.2 K/9) and profiles best in a hitter-friendly park like Coliseum.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
