Russell Wilson Expected To Play In Week 16
2 years agoDenver Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett said in his Week 15 post-game press conference that quarterback Russell Wilson (concussion) would be returning to play in Week 16 against the Los Angeles Rams on Christmas Day this Sunday. Wilson suffered a concussion in Week 14 and was held out in the Week 15 win over the Arizona Cardinals despite clearing the concussion protocol twice and taking part in practice. The 34-year-old is having one of the worst seasons of his career in his first year in Denver, completing only 60.4 percent of his passes for 2,805 yards, 11 touchdowns and six interceptions over 12 games. The Rams defense ranks 21st in pass defense and allow 227.1 air yards per game, so the matchup is a good one, but at this point, fantasy managers shouldn't have much faith in Wilson as anything more than a midrange QB2.
