Brock Purdy A Safe QB2 Option in Week 4
Brock Purdy (toe) has been removed from the injury report and will return in Week 4 after missing the past two games. Backup Mac Jones handled starts in his absence, but Purdy looked sharp in his lone appearance this season, completing 26 of 35 passes for 277 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions against a tough Seahawks defense in Week 1. Purdy now draws a challenging matchup with the Jaguars, who lead the league in interceptions forced through three weeks. Complicating matters, the 49ers' offensive line remains shaky, and wideouts Jauan Jennings (ankle) and Ricky Pearsall (knee) are both battling injuries. Given the circumstances, Purdy profiles as a safe QB2 in Week 4.

Josh Naylor Suffering from "Minor Groin Tightness"
Josh Naylor (groin) left his team's game on Friday against the Los Angeles Dodgers due to "minor groin tightness," according to Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times. The Mariners have the American League West and a spot in the American League Division Series locked up, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see Naylor get the final two games of the regular season off. The 28-year-old has been excellent across 604 plate appearances this season, slashing .295/.353/.462 with 20 home runs, 92 RBI, 81 runs scored, and 30 stolen bases. First baseman/outfielder Luke Raley could be the most likely candidate to step in for Naylor in Seattle if he misses time.

Lamar Jackson Will Continue to Build on Stellar Season in Week 4
Lamar Jackson has still looked every bit of his MVP self through three weeks this year. He currently leads the league in passing touchdowns, passer rating, yards per pass attempt and per completion, passing touchdown percentage, and is third in pass completion percentage. The biggest difference is that he hasn't gone for as many rushing yards per game (39.3) as he has in recent seasons. Despite all of his heroics, the Ravens sit at a 1-2 record and will try to avoid going 1-3 as they take on the also 1-2 Kansas City Chiefs. Last season, in Week 1, Jackson collected 273 yards and a touchdown on 26-for-41 passing with 122 yards on 16 carries. The Chiefs are right around the middle of the pack against opposing QBs so far, but this matchup is usually a bit more personal for Jackson and company. As long as the Ravens' defense continues to look like Swiss cheese, Jackson should continue to deliver for fantasy managers as one of the best options in the league.

Keon Coleman Could Struggle Again Against Saints
Keon Coleman has cooled off considerably since his strong Week 1 breakout. Over the past two games, Coleman has totaled only six receptions for 46 yards, as the Bills have shifted toward a more run-heavy approach. Positive game script has also limited his involvement, with Buffalo holding comfortable leads in Weeks 2 and 3 and relying less on Josh Allen's arm. That trend could continue in Week 4, as the Bills are 15.5-point favorites against the New Orleans Saints. The matchup itself is relatively easy, with New Orleans allowing the 10th-most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Given the reduced usage and expected negative game script, Coleman should be viewed as a risky FLEX play rather than a reliable starter.

Austin Wells Out of Yankees Lineup on Saturday
Austin Wells is not in the lineup for his team's game against the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday. Ben Rice will take his place behind the plate and bat second. With just two games remaining in the regular season, Wells has slashed .221/.277/.440 with 21 home runs, 71 RBI, 51 runs scored, and five stolen bases across 445 plate appearances. The 26-year-old has ceded some playing time to Rice in the second half of the season, but the Yankees have also found ways to play them both by starting Rice at first base. Wells will likely be back in the lineup tomorrow against Orioles right-hander Kyle Bradish.

Chris Olave Remains Dominant in Saints Passing Attack
Chris Olave was a target hog against the Seahawks, seeing 14 of the team's 41 pass attempts. However, he turned his game-high 10 receptions into just 57 yards and is still searching for his first touchdown of the season. Olave and starting quarterback Spencer Rattler have built a strong connection, as he leads the league in targets through three weeks. His volume alone keeps him relevant in fantasy lineups, though Week 4 presents a tough matchup against a Bills defense allowing just 131.3 passing yards per game. Olave is a volume-based WR2/WR3 as the clear No. 1 option in the Saints' passing attack.

Christian Gonzalez Expected to Play Against Panthers
Tetairoa McMillan, who has posted 216 yards on 14 receptions but is also questionable with a calf injury. Even if McMillan suits up, this could be a difficult matchup for the rookie against one of the league's top young corners.

New England Patriots star cornerback Christian Gonzalez (hamstring) is expected to return in Week 4 against the Carolina Panthers. Gonzalez was limited in practice all week, but the team anticipates having their lockdown corner back on the field Sunday. New England's secondary has struggled without him, giving up the fourth-most fantasy points to wide receivers through three weeks. Darnell Mooney a Big-Play Threat Against Commanders
Darnell Mooney did not practice Friday, but it was a rest day for the veteran receiver, not injury-related. Mooney led the team in targets in Week 3 with 11, but was only able to turn it into four catches for 44 scoreless yards. The 27-year-old likely won't garner double-digit targets again this week, but the good news is that he'll take on the Washington Commanders on Sunday. Tre Tucker was able to produce eight catches for 145 yards and three touchdowns in this matchup last week, and the speedy Mooney could do similar damage downfield. The 5-foot-11 wideout owned the highest aDOT on the team in 2024 of 12.3 (Drake London was second with 10.8) and also had the most plays of 20 yards or more with 21 (London had 12). Hopefully Michael Penix Jr. will rebound from his poor showing last week and can feed his receivers the ball. That could be a tall order, though, and Mooney shapes up as a WR4/Flex play with some upside in Week 4.

Alvin Kamara Set to Carry Workload Again in Week 4
Alvin Kamara rushed 18 times for 42 yards and caught one of two targets for 14 yards in the Week 3 blowout loss to the Seahawks. Head coach Kellen Moore continues to rely on Kamara, who ranks ninth in the league with 50 carries through three weeks. His involvement in the passing game has been sporadic, averaging just 3.3 targets per game compared to his career average of 6.25. Fellow back Kendre Miller also saw increased action in Week 3, recording a season-high nine touches as the game slipped away. Kamara will need to carry the load against the Bills, making him an RB2, but it comes with some snap-risk if the game falls out of hand.

Could Tyler Shough See More Playing Time Soon for the Saints?
Tyler Shough saw his first NFL action at the end of Week 3's 44-13 blowout loss to the Seahawks. He failed to complete either of his two pass attempts, but his appearance marked the first time he had stepped on the field in a regular-season game. The Saints now travel to Buffalo in Week 4 to face a Bills defense that has been dominant against the pass, allowing just 131.3 passing yards per game. Current starter Spencer Rattler is now 0-9, meaning the door may be opening for Shough to take over starting duties eventually. He is off the radar for now, but it would not be surprising to see him take over the starting spot if losses keep piling up.

Spencer Rattler Not a Fantasy Option Heading Into Week 4
Spencer Rattler went 28-for-39 for 218 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 3's blowout loss to the Seahawks. The interception was his first turnover of the season, which was one of the few positives in what has otherwise been a rough beginning for New Orleans. Life won't get easier for the young quarterback, as the Saints now head to Buffalo to face a Bills defense allowing just 131.3 passing yards per game. Rattler is still searching for his first career win, sitting at 0-9 as a starter, and it wouldn't be surprising if rookie quarterback Tyler Shough sees action in a game that isn't expected to be close. Rattler should remain far from fantasy lineups this week.

Baker Mayfield, Tristan Wirfs Expected to Suit Up in Week 4
Baker Mayfield (bicep) and left tackle Tristan Wirfs (knee) are expected to play in Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Both players are listed as questionable. Mayfield has looked great through three games, totaling six touchdowns and zero interceptions while ranking as the overall QB10. His protection has taken a step back this year due to offensive line injuries, but he'll get a major reinforcement this week with Wirfs back in the mix. Wirfs missed the first three games of the season but could return to play every offensive snap in Week 4. His presence is key as the Buccaneers work to protect Mayfield's blindside.

Chris Godwin Expected to Play, Could Have Snap Count
Chris Godwin (ankle) is expected to play in Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. With that said, it's worth noting that NFL Network's Ian Rapoport indicated that Godwin could be on a snap count for his 2025 season debut. Even if he doesn't play a full array of snaps, Godwin is still an intriguing fantasy option. He excelled before getting hurt last year and should pick up right where he left off as he fills the void of Mike Evans (hamstring). He should be viewed as a mid-to-low WR2 this weekend, with the potential to climb up rankings even further going forward.

Commanders Will Not Place Terry McLaurin on Injured Reserve
Terry McLaurin (quad) will not be placed on injured reserve as he works to recover from an injury suffered in Week 3 against the Las Vegas Raiders, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. However, there is still some uncertainty surrounding his status, as he is being evaluated on a week-to-week basis and does not have a specific timetable for his return. The 31-year-old could be headed for a multi-game absence, putting Deebo Samuel Sr. in line to rank as a low-end WR2 while Zach Ertz, Jaylin Lane, and Luke McCaffrey also see opportunity spikes, too.

Jayden Daniels Targeting Week 5 Return
Jayden Daniels (knee) was pushing to play against the Atlanta Falcons before ultimately being ruled out, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Instead, Daniels is now targeting a Week 5 return. Fowler noted that the former No. 2 pick could have possibly played this week if he were an older, less-mobile quarterback, but the fact that he likes to run with the football makes it tougher for him to play through a knee issue. Marcus Mariota will start at quarterback once again this week.

Shedeur Sanders Gets Shoutout From Coach for Work Ethic
Shedeur Sanders heading into Week 4 against the Detroit Lions. "[Sanders] has done a good job," Stefanski said. "I think all our guys feel like they're ready and they're working hard." These comments paint a slight picture of Sanders' potential role going forward, but they also fail to differentiate him from fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel or even current veteran starter Joe Flacco. Flacco earned himself some of the coaches' trust last week as he led the Browns to a victory over the Packers, who had been 2-0. As for Sanders, he'll continue to watch from the sideline and can be dropped in all redraft leagues.

Steelers Pleased with Kaleb Johnson's Progress
Kaleb Johnson's progress, and he believes the rookie has "positioned himself to be a contributor" this week against the Minnesota Vikings. He acknowledged that Johnson has had to earn his way back into the offense after a costly special teams miscue back in Week 2. The 22-year-old had just two carries through his first two games before being a healthy scratch last weekend. It sounds like he'll play this Sunday, but his exact role remains up in the air. He should continue to be stashed on the bench in redraft leagues with at least 14 teams, as well as all dynasty formats.

Graham Gano Ruled Out, Younghoe Koo to Kick in Week 4
Graham Gano (groin) has been ruled out for Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Younghoe Koo will kick in his absence. Gano initially suffered the injury during warmups before last week's game against the Chiefs. He did convert a field goal in that game, but was still used sparingly. Now, there's a chance that he could be placed on IR as he recovers. Meanwhile, Koo was cut loose by the Falcons after missing a potential game-winning field goal in Week 1. He's capable of kicking far with accuracy, but his volume remains uncertain as the Giants could face some growing pains in quarterback Jaxson Dart's first career start.

Spencer Shrader a Top-12 Option in Week 4
Spencer Shrader has been busy to start the year, hitting 11 of his 12 field-goal attempts and all 10 of his extra-point tries. The veteran kicker will look to keep it going in a Week 4 road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams have been generous to fantasy kickers thus far, allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to the position thus far. The Colts have employed one of the best offenses in the league through three games and Shrader should continue to see plenty of point-scoring chances heading into Week 4. Treat him as a top-12 fantasy kicker this weekend.

Tyler Warren a TE1 Heading into Week 4
Tyler Warren will look to continue a hot start to his rookie season in a Week 4 road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Warren has caught 14 passes for 193 yards through three games as he and Michael Pittman Jr. have been the focal points for Daniel Jones in the passing attack. The Rams represent a decent matchup for Warren as they are allowing the 18th-most fantasy points per game to tight ends this year. Warren sets up as a top-eight fantasy tight end heading into Week 4.

Adonai Mitchell Set to See a Larger Role in Week 4
Adonai Mitchell has been quiet through the first three games of the season, catching just four passes for 41 scoreless yards thus far. He has a chance to earn more work in Week 4, however, as Alec Pierce (concussion) has already been ruled out after suffering a concussion in Week 3. Mitchell will slide into the starting lineup across from Michael Pittman Jr. heading into a Week 4 road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. While it is a risky move for managers, Mitchell is on the board as a boom/bust flex option in fantasy heading into Sunday's games.

Josh Downs a Flex Option Heading into Week 4
Josh Downs is off to a quiet start to the season, catching 10 passes for 97 scoreless yards through three games. As emerging as the Colts' top option in 2024, the slot receiver has taken a backseat to Michael Pittman Jr. and Tyler Warren in the team's passing attack with quarterback Daniel Jones under center. That being said, he could see more work come his way with Alec Pierce (concussion) already ruled out for Week 4. Downs will look to get on track in a road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. The Rams are allowing the 14th-most fantasy points per game to receivers this season. Downs sets up as a middling flex option in fantasy this weekend with the hope that he sees more targets with Pierce unavailable.

Michael Pittman Jr. Looks to Stay Hot in Week 4
Michael Pittman Jr. has emerged as the favorite target of new quarterback Daniel Jones through the first three weeks of the season. Pittman has been excellent thus far, catching 16 passes for 193 yards and two touchdowns, easily pacing the Colts in all three categories. The veteran wideout will look to keep it going in a Week 4 road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams have been decent against wideouts this season, allowing the 14th-most fantasy points per game to the position. Pittman should remain the focal point of the Indy offense as they look to improve to 4-0 on the year. He sets up as a high-end WR3/flex option in Week 4.

DJ Giddens Losing Work With Tyler Goodson Healthy
DJ Giddens has become an afterthought in his team's offense. The rookie saw 12 carries in Week 1 but has handled just one touch in the two games since, as Indy has leaned heavily on starter Jonathan Taylor. The return to health of Tyler Goodson has also cut into Giddens' workload as the former is now over a preseason elbow injury. It appears that Goodson is still behind Giddens for now, as he saw four snaps to Giddens' eight in Week 3, but his return to health muddies the backup running-back role in Indianapolis. For now, Giddens remains the better stash in case of injury to Taylor, but neither he nor Goodson is a must-roster heading into a Week 4 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.

Jonathan Taylor a Top-Six Option in Week 4
Jonathan Taylor has been one of the top fantasy players through the first three weeks of the season, rushing for 338 yards and three touchdowns while adding 93 receiving yards and another score through the air. Taylor will look to stay hot in Week 4 in a road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams represent a tough matchup for Taylor as they are allowing the fewest fantasy points per game to the running back position through three weeks. That being said, Taylor remains one of the few true workhorses left in the league and can still be trusted as a top-six fantasy running back this weekend despite the difficult matchup.

Daniel Jones Looks to Continue Hot Start to the Season
Daniel Jones' performance has been a pleasant surprise over the first month of the season. Jones has led one of the top offenses in the league thus far, throwing for 816 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions while adding three rushing touchdowns. The Colts will look to stay hot in a road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams are allowing the 17th-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, giving Jones a decent matchup to stay hot. He checks in as a low-end QB1 in fantasy heading into Sunday.
