New Jersey Devils defenseman Luke Hughes signed a seven-year, $63 million contract with the team on Wednesday. This marks the end of a lengthy contract saga, as Hughes spent the entire offseason as a restricted free agent and hasn't been with the team during training camp. Due to his absence, Hughes might be slow out of the gate at the start of the season. However, Hughes' potential makes him an appealing fantasy option. At 22 years old, Hughes already has 155 games under his belt, having collected 93 points (17 goals, 76 assists). 41 of his points have come on the power play.--Taavi Pailk
