Oilers Acquire Connor Ingram
The Edmonton Oilers acquired goaltender Connor Ingram from the Utah Mammoth on Wednesday. The Mammoth traded Ingram for future considerations and will retain $800,000 of his $1.95 million cap hit. Ingram was recently waived and assigned to the AHL. He is expected to stay in the minors at the start of his time with the Oilers' organization. However, Ingram could get an opportunity to re-establish himself in the NHL, depending on the performances of Stuart Skinner and Calvin Pickard. The 28-year-old boasts a 39-44-15 career record in the NHL. He has registered seven shutouts, a 3.14 goals-against average, and a .902 save percentage in 102 appearances.
