Could Tyler Shough See More Playing Time Soon for the Saints?
Tyler Shough saw his first NFL action at the end of Week 3's 44-13 blowout loss to the Seahawks. He failed to complete either of his two pass attempts, but his appearance marked the first time he had stepped on the field in a regular-season game. The Saints now travel to Buffalo in Week 4 to face a Bills defense that has been dominant against the pass, allowing just 131.3 passing yards per game. Current starter Spencer Rattler is now 0-9, meaning the door may be opening for Shough to take over starting duties eventually. He is off the radar for now, but it would not be surprising to see him take over the starting spot if losses keep piling up.
