Bryan Rust to Miss Start of Season
Pittsburgh Penguins right wing Bryan Rust (lower body) will be unavailable for the first few games of the season after the team announced that he has to sit out at least two weeks of action. Rust couldn't finish Wednesday's practice session due to a lower-body injury. If he can return within 14 days, Rust will only miss five regular-season games. However, there's also a chance he might have to miss more than two weeks. Due to Rust's absence, rookie Ville Koivunen could get a look on the first line early in the season. The 22-year-old showed a lot of promise last season, racking up seven assists in his first eight career NHL games.
