Toronto Maple Leafs right wing Ondrej Kase was forced to end his game against Nashville early on Saturday after he received an elbow to the head. The incident occurred early in the second period and Kase ended up logging only 6:22 of ice time. The Czech winger had entered the matchup with a three-game goal streak and sits on 27 points for the season. He's been skating on the second line lately and Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe is now forced to look for attentive options. The team noted that Kase's exit was for precautionary reasons, but he's suffered a number of concussions and it appears unlikely that he can make a quick return.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
