NFL Won't Ban The "Tush Push" In 2024
9 months agoThe NFL is leaving the "tush push" as a legal play for the 2024 season. NFL executive Troy Vincent said on Thursday that there will not be any proposal presented this offseason to ban the play for next season. "The Eagles," Vincent said on a conference call, "do it well." The Eagles offense ran the trending short-yardage play way more successfully than any other team in the NFL, although it will be interesting to see if that continues in 2024 after center Jason Kelce retired. The news that the league won't ban the play is excellent news for quarterback Jalen Hurts' fantasy value as an elite, high-end QB1 in fantasy, as it will continue to allow him to cash in on goal-line, tush-push touchdown sneaks.
