Najee Harris Good To Go Against Panthers
2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris (hip) practiced in full on Thursday and Friday and was removed from the final Week 15 injury report. He's good to go for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. There was some concern when he didn't practice on Wednesday, but the Steelers were likely resting their lead back. The 24-year-old has dealt with foot, oblique and hip injuries this year, but he hasn't missed any games. In 13 games played, he has 187 carries for 704 yards and five touchdowns, adding 32 receptions for 165 yards and two more scores. It's been a big step back from when he led the NFL in total touches in his rookie season in 2021, but Harris has been better of late, scoring four rushing TDs in the last four games. Harris will be firmly in the RB2 mix this weekend against a vulnerable Panthers run D.
